DEPARTMENT - Technical Services Department<br />
AIM:<br />
The Technical Services department is responsible for provision of basic<br />
services and implementation of Municipal Infrastructure projects.<br />
The Technical Services Department is split into the following<br />
sections:<br />
* Water Services<br />
* Sanitation Services<br />
* Roads and Storm water<br />
* Electricity Services (Outsourced to Centlec)<br />
* Project Management Unit (Infrastructure)<br />
* Solid Waste Management<br />
WATER SERVICES SECTION<br />
Mohokare local municipality is a water service authority and provider. The municipality provides<br />
water throughout the three towns.<br />
NB: Electricity is supplied by only two service providers in Mohokare local municipality namely<br />
ESKOM and CENTLEC.<br />
