FAQ<br />

How long does this process take?<br />

From start to finish, the process for custom portraits can take anywhere from two weeks to a couple months.<br />

• Session scheduled<br />

• Pay retainer (due within 48 hours of session being scheduled, regardless of presence of gift certificate).<br />

• Consultation/ (via e-mail or phone) to coordinate location and details (71- days prior to session. Clients are encouraged to share any<br />

ideas at this time.<br />

• 30 minutes up to 2 hours, the session<br />

• Sneak Peek posted to Social Media outlets within two business days from session, you are encourages to share and tag however, we<br />

kindly ask that there are no cropping, editing to the shared images.<br />

• Typically within 10-12 business days (M-F) of your session you will receive login information via e-mail for your private online gallery<br />

which is available for 14 days once uploaded to place an order (with the exception of weddings). A rush fee can be added for $100,<br />

giving you access to your gallery in 3 business days or sooner. If the gallery needs to be reopened, an additional fee of $45 will be<br />

required.<br />

• Post to blog on website within 7 days from close of gallery.<br />

• Depending on how soon you place your order of prints, canvases and boutique items, your shipment will be delivered to your home<br />

usually within 4 weeks of your session. (This excludes weddings)<br />

Please note your session is not secure until your retainer is received. The retainer must be paid within 48 hours to secure your session.<br />

Once the session has been scheduled, I will contact you to for a consultation to discuss location, occasion, and any other details.<br />

Inclement Weather<br />

Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy: If there is a 35% or greater chance of precipitation in the forecast on the date of your outdoor<br />

session we reserve the right to reschedule session for a later date within one month of the original date.<br />

After the session… Your options!<br />

• In person premiere ordering sessions, where I will can meet you at a coffee shop or another mutual agreed upon location and then I<br />

will guide you through the ordering process. You will also receive a link to your online gallery so you can view your images and family<br />

and friends can purchase images from your session after the ordering session. OR<br />

• Your images placed in an online gallery for you, your family, and friends to view in the comfort of your home! The online gallery will<br />

display the images from the session and you will have access to easy ordering of prints, canvases, albums, and boutique items! All<br />

major credit cards are accepted. Any products ordered will be shipped directly to you.<br />

What if your session needs to be re-scheduled?<br />

Things happen, that’s life! If you need to reschedule your session that is completely fine, we will find a date that works both of us. The<br />

retainer fee will be moved to secure your new date/time. If the session is cancelled the retainer fee is non refundable. Photography by<br />

Studio Eleven reserves the right to reschedule an outdoor session due to inclement weather.<br />

Where do you Print your prints/canvases/albums, etc.?<br />

All printing through Photography by Studio Eleven is done through a professional print lab to insure that our clients receive only the<br />

highest quality products.<br />

Professional Hair and Makeup<br />

I work with a couple amazing professional hair and makeup artists, managing cosmetologists. Professional hair and makeup starts at<br />

$100.00 and can be added to any session.<br />

Do you give images on CD/USB?<br />

No, digital images may be purchased through our online gallery and ordering system. Eventually, that technology will become obsolete.<br />

We strongly recommend having multiple back up copies of images to cloud-based servers, and above all; print your images.<br />

What happens if a re-shoot is requested?<br />

Rarely, a session just doesn’t go as we had planned. Everyone has a bad day. We have a very strict re-shoot policy. Since we shoot<br />

digital and you could view your shots as we go, you get a good idea if we are capturing what you need. I always ask my clients be<br />

upfront and honest with me and I feel as if I create a relaxed enough environment for you to speak up if you feel at any point, we are not<br />

getting the desired shots. Reshoot of any Photography by Studio Eleven will be available at no cost for technical issues only (including<br />

but not limited to equipment or lighting malfunctions and sudden inclement weather). Reshoots will NOT be offered for reasons such as<br />

clients clothing choice, dissatisfaction of makeup/hair, client facial expressions, uncooperative subjects (including babies, toddlers,<br />

children and pets) or things beyond the photographers control.*<br />

*In the event you would like to schedule another shoot due to one of the above, Photography by Studio Eleven will re-shoot your session<br />

at a 25% discount. Excluding Hair & Makeup costs).<br />

If the client wishes to re-shoot, the following apply:<br />

• The client must book the reshoot within 14 days of the original shoot date (provided the photographer is available)<br />

• The previous online gallery will be taken down + no images from the original session will be included or saved.<br />

• If prints were ordered and/or delivered to the client, a re-shoot is no longer available. The decision to re-shoot must be made AFTER<br />

review of the client gallery but BEFORE any images have been downloaded or prints have been ordered.<br />

Any and all session re-shoots are determined at the discretion of the photographer.<br />

There are no refunds and or exceptions to any of the above listed policies.<br />
