14th Anniversary Celebration on May 20, 2016 Keynote Speaker Performer June Beland Founder, President and CEO, Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada This event celebrate the chambers 14th Anniversary and also to honor our Diversity Partners, Community Partners, Presidential, Executive Circle Members, and recognizes WCCNV Charter members and members that have been with the chamber for a decade. Our Master of Ceremonies this year is Cassandra Cotton of Nathan Adelson Hospice and Keynote Speaker June L. Beland, Founder/President/CEO of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada©. The chamber had a very special opening performance by Amie Jo Greer “You’re my Hero” and background music from Audio Energy DJ Gail Sande. June is a visionary, entrepreneur, philanthropist and publisher since 1977. As a Trail Blazer June shares her years of entrepreneurship, inspiration, mentoring and empowerment to women in Nevada. On May 8, 2002 the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada ® was established. WCCNV also celebrated history in 2015 as being the first Women’s Chamber in the 150 year history of Nevada. June also paid close attention to Nevada’s Education problems and lack of funds for higher education while running the chamber for the past 14 year, so she establish the WCCNV Legacy Foundation with her board members who wanted to be a part of the inception of the educational legacy. The WCCNV Legacy Foundation is for Higher Education Scholarships for women and female “At Risk” High School graduates to include Postsecondary Education (Trade Schools-Hospitality- IT-Medical-Nursing-HR-Culinary etc). The Grant Program Division is for Diversity Business Certification and is funded out of the Women’s Chamber, not the foundation. Amie Jo Greer Performer Music She’s a media personality with over ten years’ experience in radio and television. She is a recording artist with her own publishing and production company. She began “Singing for Self-Esteem” to support her nonprofit organization, The C4S G.I.R.L.S. Club. Since then, Amie Jo has been performing in Las Vegas and across the Nation; and enjoyed the distinct pleasure of opening for Mr. Ollie Woodson of the tempting Temptations and the World-Famous, Ink Spots. She released her second CD last October entitled “Remembering Love”. Help me welcome up Amie Jo Greer. Gail Sande Owner of Audio Energy DJ Gail has been involved with both broadcasting and print media for many years. She has also worked retail locally for Macys, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, and is now proud to be associated with Landau Jewelry located at Harrah’s Las Vegas. Landau is a women’s jewelry store chain with 9 store locations in Las Vegas and dozens more across the United States. Gail is a member of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce and has assisted the Chamber with special events for the past 9-years. DID YO U KNOW THAT TH E CHAMBER HAS A NETWORKING GROUP ?
