This tour includes two of the most unusual Buddhist temples in Bangkok: Wat Trimitr with its invaluable Golden Buddha (5<br />

½ tons of solid gold) Wat Po, the most extensive temple in Bangkok, with its colossal Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of<br />

the Kings. The Grand Palace is one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence<br />

of the Kings of <strong>Thailand</strong>. Here you will see palaces which were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the<br />

Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple.<br />

Finishing the tour will be a visit to the famous jewelry store Gems Gallery.<br />

DAMNOEN SADUAK FLOATING MARKET - Daily morning: 07.00 - 12.00 hrs<br />

The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, situated 110 kms west of Bangkok, is a very attractive place for tourists to see the<br />

old style and traditional way of selling and buying fruits, vegetables, etc., from small boats. You will also see traditional<br />

Thai houses, the way they live and travel by boats.<br />

Remarks:<br />

• Guests needs to dress properly and polite to visit the Grand Palace<br />

• The Grand Palace is closed during special royal ceremonies and during visiting heads of state<br />

This most interesting full day tour takes you to the rural floating market of Damnoen Saduak situated 110 kms west of<br />

Bangkok. By long tail boat we then continue along greenery canals, where you visit the colorful Floating Market with<br />

women vendors, who still can be seen paddling their boats, loaded with all kind of fruit and vegetables. Then continue<br />

to Kanchanaburi, visit War Cemetery of the allied prisoners of World War II, PBRC-Death Railway Museum and Research<br />

Centre (the museum of World War II) and the world famous bridge on the River Kwai. Lunch will be served enroute at local<br />

restaurant during the tour. Continue to take the train trip along the Death Railway scenic sightseeing of countryside and<br />

exciting passing at wooden viaduct built by the P.O.W.S situated on a sheer cliff side overlooking the River Kwai.<br />
