Excellent dining experiences in Hua Hin
Saeng Thai Seafood
Just a stone’s throw from the fishing pier, this open-air
restaurant overlooks a picturesque ocean view and offers the
best value overall. While the atmosphere leans toward simple
and functional, the superb quality of its seafood dishes is hard
to match. The multi-page menu covers practically everything
that swims in the ocean, executed to a succulent perfection.
Price may not be the lowest in the market, but it’s within a
reasonable range.
Let’s Sea Pub & Restaurant
Part of the chic al fresco resort of the same name, Let’s Sea
Pub & Restaurant wows its patrons with sweeping ocean
views, an absolute chill ambience and a menu that fuses
contemporary Thai and international flavours. Think soft shell
crab som tam, sautéed big clams with white wine sauce and
rock lobster gratin. The attached Breeze Bar offers a creative
drinks menu, including five variations of martini, cocktails and
mocktails.
FACILITIES
Close to the fishing pier, overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, this
casual eatery serves up great Thai-style seafood dishes. The
open kitchen and tanks containing live fish and shell fish are on
the ground floor, while the upper level houses a large, semioutdoor
seating area. Baked scallops in garlic butter sauce,
crab curry, deep-fried Indo-Pacific mackerel in fish sauce and
tom yam seafood are highly recommended.
You Yen Balcony
Fronting the sea and surrounded by a landscaped garden,
this seafood restaurant gives you a glimpse into the Hua Hin
of yesteryear. The restaurant is set in an elegant, restored
wooden Thai house, built in 1920s, with a sweeping beachfront
that doubles as an al fresco dining area. The menu focuses on
regional Thai dishes, with a selection of traditional snacks as
well as fiery tom yam and Thai salads.
DINING
HUA HIN
Baan Isara
Set by the ocean, the restaurant’s main building is a twostorey
wooden Thai house painted in pastel green. The
outdoor terrace overlooks the ocean and is often packed with
weekenders from Bangkok. Unlike other seafood eateries in
town, Baan Isara’s seafood menu fuses European and Thai
