Earley St Peter’s CE Primary School are a co-educaonal primary school i n
reading for pupils aged 3-11. Earley St Peter’s Primary School strives to be
a centre of excellence in their local community, helping children develop

SchoolCare were approached by Earley St Peter’s CE Primary School to
assist with a proposed upgrade of their School Hall Audio Visual System.
Earley St Peter’s CE Primary School are in the process of achieving the Arts
Mark, giving every child the opportunity to create, compos and perform.
The improvement of the Audio Visual provision at Earley St Peter’s School
was necessary to improve school performances as well as assemblies.

Earley St Peter’s CE Primary School are a large primary school of 530
pupils based in Reading, Berkshire catering for children aged 5-11.
THE CHALLENGE
SchoolCare were approached by Earley St Peter’s
CE Primary School to help develop on their exisn g
basic specificaon for a Hall Audio Visual Soluon.
The project had been budgeted so SchoolCare were aware of the
boundaries in which we could operate as part of the proposal.
With SchoolCare’s focus on best value, the challenge was to
deliver all of the requirements without compromising on quality.
THE SOLUTION
Having spent a number of years designing and installing
audio visual soluons for the educaon sector,
SchoolCare have experience and relaonships with a
huge variety of industry leading Audio Visual vendors.
Because of these strong industry es, SchoolCare were
able design a soluon from best of breed vendors,
well within budget, consisng of the following:
• SYNQ USB Stage & Recording Mixer
• PLANO LED Lighng System
• COBRA 12U Rack Case with Laptop Shelf
• CHORD Wireless Mic System
• CHORD Wireless belt pack transmier with colour coding
• VECTOR WS12 Speakers and wall mounts
• VECTOR Power Amplifier
• LAVALIER e -clip microphone for use with VHF and UHF belt
pack transmiers
• SIGNET Professional inducon loop amplifier
The soluon was supplied and installed by
SchoolCare over a 2 day period, this included all the necessary
cabling and electrical work, carried out by our inhouse
electricians.
The soluons was designed to cover all aspects
of the requirement, including install and commissioning of
a hearing loop system.
As a result of the new Audio
Visual Deployment, the school
now benefit from a powerful ,
easy to use system covering
all aspects of School Hall AV.
The key requirements which
were specified by the schoo l
which have been achieved are:
• Easy to set up and use.
• Hardware that offers reliable
• performance.
• Setup to have a default
configura on.
• Minimal wiring to prevent
tangling.
• Liming the need for mulple
remote controls
• Charging facilies for remotes/
devices.
Pupils and staff now have acces s
to a fully wireless microphone
system which allows the hall to
be setup in any way required
to accommodate both school
assemblies or school performances.
The new installaon saw the
school pung on several
performances with their new
system, prior to the summer 2016
break and are well on their way to
achieving the coveted Arts Mark.
