Institutes of Quality (IOQ) Network. They treat special health conditions and
their services include: weight loss surgery, cardiac care (such as heart surgery),
and orthopedic care (such as knee and hip replacements, or surgery of the
spine). These centers belong to our quality network. They have high volumes
and produce clear clinical results. Having a high volume means that they do a
lot of procedures in their area of specialty. This delivers value and quality to
Aetna Medicare members.

www.aetna.com (our public website). Not all Institutes of Quality services are
covered by all health plans. And some Institutes of Quality do not have doctors
who contract with Aetna Medicare. You may have to pay extra if you use a
center that does not have doctors who contract with Aetna Medicare. Call the
