How far in advance should
you reserve your room?
Our Wedding Coordinators
recommend that if you have
a specific date in mind, you
should look to book at least
a year in advance for both
your venue and your room.
However, if you don’t have a
preference on date, you have
more flexibility. We offer a
variety of packages that are
not only designed to make
planning your special day as
easy as possible, but also include
the eight beautiful bedrooms at
the hotel in the package price.
What makes your bridal
suite special? Our stunning
bridal suite named after Philip
Sassoon, the original owner
of the Port Lympne Mansion,
has all the furnishings and
special touches you could
wish for, including a separate
dressing room, beautiful en
suite bathroom and stunning
romantic views over the
Reserve towards the coast
beyond. You can wake up to
the sounds of lions roaring
and gibbons singing – your
personal animal chorus to
celebrate your wedding day!
How many people can you
accommodate elsewhere?
With several different types
of accommodation available
at the Reserve including
romantic tented lodges, luxury
glass fronted treehouses,
fun camping pods and cosy
cottages we can accommodate
up to 250 people at the
Reserve at one time.
How did you decide on the
décor? Wherever possible
we have retained the original
and very unique 1920s
décor, whilst ensuring that
furnishings are modern,
comfortable and stylish.
What makes the room
romantic? The Sassoon Bridal
Suite has a luxurious four
poster bed, incredible views
and beautiful furnishings.
How early can brides
arrive to get ready? Brides
can arrive as early as 8am,
allowing plenty of time to
get ready without rushing.
What extras are available?
We offer a variety of extras
including Champagne,
strawberries, breakfast, rose
petals, animal encounters,
private ranger guided safaris
and photography days, where
couples can get tips on getting
the perfect animal image from
our resident photographer.
Have you ever had any
unusual special requests?
Being a wild animal park you
can imagine that we have had
some very unusual special
requests, some of which we
just can’t accommodate – no
WT Wedding Supplement
one really wants a wild tiger
at their wedding, even if, in
theory, it sounds amazing!
However we are happy to
accommodate requests and
some of our favourites include
the rings being flown down
the aisle by birds of prey!
How much does it cost?
Rooms at Port Lympne Hotel
start from £250 on a bed and
breakfast basis, whilst wedding
packages start from £7,500. You
