2.3 | Provide ongoing professional support for staff to confidently use educational
technology to deliver curriculum in support of next generation learning
Ÿ Workshops prepared for Digital Discipleship
were offered to staff
Ÿ Field testing completed for Google Apps for
Education (GAFE)
Ÿ Created Google IDs for all students ELKP to
Grade 12, teachers, EAs, ERTs, Library
Technicians, Secretaries, Administration and
Program/Special Education staff
Ÿ Purchased and distributed Chromebooks to
each teacher, ERT and Administrator in
elementary schools
Ÿ The Synergyse app was purchased to provide
support for students and staff using GAFE
Ÿ Digital Lead Learners (DLL) identified at each
school that attended workshops and then
brought the information/training back to their
schools
Ÿ Training on GAFE provided to Senior
Administration, Principals, staff at field test
sites, selected central level staff
Ÿ Website created to support staff with GAFE,
BYOD, Digital Discipleship, ELearning which is

Ÿ Training on Google Read and Write provided to
DLL and ERTs
