Thisyear the FrenchSTudent Council hasbeendoing many<br />
things TO spiceupthesocial and cultural lifeatJarvis. Things such<br />
as establishing a great working relationship with the English side<br />
Council one working towards creating our own clubs: the debating<br />
club aswell as others in theworks. Inaddition toallofthis, wealso<br />
had a survey and put up a maoofthe world to show the cultural<br />
diversityantheFrenchside. During the monthofOctober wewere<br />
proud toinauguratethefirst Coffee House of1996-97 and weare<br />
alsoplanningonhavingone towardsthisspring. We arealsoplanning<br />
a pool party onDec. 6th and most ofourcurrent efforts are<br />
being putforthtowardsthepreparaTionand Theplanning surrounding<br />
the movingofthe College (Dec. 2nd).<br />

Thisyear, the Senators havebeen a proud new addition<br />
to theStudent Council. They provide avital level of communication<br />
between the Student Council and the Class Presidents.<br />
Our main goals have been to voice and express the<br />
concerns ofstudents. Andto follow the motto: Whenthetask<br />
is accomplished andth ings havebeen completed, all the peop le<br />
saywe ourselves haveachievedit.<br />
