<strong>FEBRUARY</strong> February 5 Today's Scripture You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is!! Job 1:10 DIVINE PROTECTION IS YOUR PORTION Job had to face all kinds of adversity and tough times. But those dif culties were not a surprise to God. Satan's attacks against Job didn't catch God off guard. The Scripture says the enemy had to ask permission from God before he could touch Job. He couldn't bring one thing against him unless God allowed him to act. This should serve as an encouragement to you. When you face problems, there is a real peace when you understand God is in complete control, not just of your circumstances, but God is in control of your enemies. That means there is no person that can keep you down, no sickness too great, no trouble or calamity that can keep you from ultimately living in victory. God will always cause you to triumph. The bottom line is this; God is still on the throne, and He has promised that if you will stay in faith, no weapon formed against you is ever going to prosper. One clear fact is that if you are in Christ, nothing can harm you outside of Gods design. That does not mean that you can t be harmed or won t suffer, but you do know that The Lord is your keeper and does not slumber or sleep. Satans desire to destroy you is nothing to God. Satan needs permission from God before he can tempt or harm you. As a child of God, you have a secret place, the shelter of the Almighty. If you are walking in an abiding relationship with Jesus Christ, you are walking under the shadow of the Almighty. God covers us like a hen protects her chicks with her feathers. Your faith in God is the shelter of your tent. God is your refuge and strength. If we are in Him, there is nothing that can make you afraid. The Bible makes it clear that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Prayer For The Day Father, thank You for walking with me through every season of life. I thank You for being a shield of protection around me, for going before me and preparing the way. Thank you for prospering me in every area of my life. Keep me close to You and give me strength as I move forward into the victory You have for me in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen. 8
<strong>FEBRUARY</strong> February 6 Today's Scripture “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 DON T LET NOTHING STOP YOU! We all mess up. We say things we later wish we could take back. We do things we wish we could undo. We miss opportunities. This happens in all spheres of our lives. Sometimes we make mistakes at work, sometimes we hurt the people we love, sometimes we disappoint God. And because we all mess up, we like to start over to turn our backs on the past, to look forward, to hope that this time round, things are going to be better. And believers we have been given the ability to persevere and always be victorious through Jesus Christ our Lord. There is no person that hasn t sinned a er they were saved. The difference is only that some run from God and others run to God. I don t care what you ve done. If you understand the Grace of God, and that His forgiveness is unfailing, that sin will actually motivate you to get to Jesus. Don t let it stop you. Nothing should stop you from worshiping God, not people, not our past, not anything. God is not looking for perfect people. If He was, we would all be disquali ed. He is looking for people that have a heart that's right. If you have a heart toward God and you get up each day with a commitment to do your best, you don't have to live guilty and condemned. And when those old thoughts come telling you, You don't deserve God's blessings, just say, You're exactly right. I know I don't deserve it. But that's what God's mercy is all about. Trust God with your past and future and commit your present to his purpose. Then watch and see how God provides abundantly for you and through you so that you can express the joy of the Lord and His grace in your life. Prayer For The Day Father, thank You for empowering me by Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for giving me new life and the opportunity to start afresh. I choose to let go of the past. I won t let it de ne me and I won't let it stop me, but I will let Your truth de ne me and lead me into victory in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen. 9
