Love is one of the most sacred things we have in our society. I couldn’t help but fall
in love with Mark Stone who was supportive, attentive, generous, acted like he was in
love with me, with the main goal of intentionally deceiving me. I look back on all my
other relationships and I think why did I fall so hard for this person, it wasn´t that
Mark was my typical type but I had never had a relationship so romantic, to be doted
on, anything I needed he was there to help…honestly it took some getting used to
because I wasn´t used to such attentiveness. It tortures me knowing he was paid to be
with me. Was he Mr. Right precisely because he had access to my files, he could fit
himself to me personally, be interested in the same things and so on. Precisely
because it was such a loving relationship is why it was so devastating to find out it
was all a lie. How sick is that?
How many times have I wondered if his superiors have kids, what would they think if
their daughters were preyed upon like this. I have so much anger inside about this
crime and it is only exacerbated by the fact that a government institution that is there
to protect me is responsible. How do you trust men after this, how do you trust
government. I don’t think I can make you comprehend how it feels to lose your trust
on both of those levels. You won’t understand unless it happens to you.
Having to initiate this case when I was deep in a depression seemed impossible and
there were times I almost gave up completely. It took me forever to respond to the
requests of my lawyers because all of it was just too overwhelming, the process felt
belittling, intimidating and downright scary and I wasn´t even functional in my own
life how was I going to stand up to the METROPOLITAN POLICE FORCE. I felt I
had been raped, I never consented to sleeping with a police officer and I needed
someone else to step in and do the process for me because it was too restimulating of
the trauma. It has taken 6 and a half years to get to this point and the
METROPOLITAN POLICE FORCE didn´t begin cooperating with the process until
quite recently. This is deeply retraumatizing adding insult to injury.
All my emails with Mark were wiped clean out of two different email accounts. It is
terrifying to think if this can happen what else might they do to cover up this horrible
crime the METROPOLITAN POLICE FORCE has committed. You already feel like
your life is like a bad tv show, it feels surreal and your mind can never completely
grasp or understand what has really happened to you. Standing up and saying this is
institutionalized sexism, it didn’t happen to men and what you did is so morally
wrong, is terrifying. Im using my life as an example of what should never happen to
anyone. No one should ever be under any circumstance coerced, invaded, violated
and deceived by undercover police officer through sexual relationships. I have asked
for my records and I haven’t received anything. I want to know to what extent my
private life has been invaded by the UK police force and what justification is there for
it? I didn’t consent to any of this. Who gave permission for a British undercover
officer to sleep with a US national in the UK, Scotland and Spain? I am deeply
driven that the METROPOLITAN POLICE FORCE should assure me of that and
they have in their apology. But it is our responsibility to make sure that they uphold
that promise. I think the Pitchford Inquiry and opening cases up in all the countries
where Mark Stone was operating is extremely important in making sure that this will
never happen again. Whether you are part of this crime or part of the cover up aren’t
you ashamed?

Please if these crimes outrage you get involved. We are continuing to fight for the
truth to be revealed in the Pitchford Inquiry and we are demanding that Inquiries also
happen in Scotland, Ireland and the Republic of Ireland…(insert who they should
contact to get involved) Police and government are here to serve the people and they
need to be held responsible when negligent and violating human rights.
