Women's and Men's Fashion Collection Fall/Winter 2012
Porsche Design meets Industrial Flair
Stuttgart. For Fall/Winter 2012, the luxury brand Porsche Design pumps up its
Fashion Collection for men and women with a chic, industrial flair. The greatly expanded
collection also draws on expressive design elements and showcases the
iconic essence of the luxury brand. This year's highlight is a global limited edition of
40 goat nubuck overalls for women. The new Fall/Winter 2012 Fashion Collection is
now available in all Porsche Design Stores worldwide.
Since 1972, Porsche Design has stood for iconic style, for products with clean lines
and no frills. The Fall/Winter 2012 Fashion Collection, inspired by a modern industrial
flair, is uncompromising in its use of purist design concepts. That maxim is
particularly on display in the LaserFlex Collection, which includes jackets, tops,
various accessories and a lamb nappa leather skirt. One of the collection's unifying
elements is a complex, technical structure called LaserFlex that has been incorporated
into the products in a variety of ways. A classic is the Roadster leather jacket
for men and women, made of high-quality lambskin nappa leather. This season’s
version wows with its cool biker-style cut. The women's version is further enhanced
with a diagonal zipper and LaserFlex details on sleeves, collar and shoulders.
The current season marks the 40th anniversary of the Porsche Design luxury brand
and features an exclusive leather overall as its highlight. The olive-coloured overall
40Y Limited Edition is made of particularly soft goatskin and is limited to a total of
only 40 numbered pieces all around the world.
The Porsche Design lambskin shearling and down jackets are perfect for colder
weather, available in both women's and men's styles. The shearlings are made of
Spanish Merinillo, known for its light weight while at the same time offering

comfortable warmth. Both men's and women's shearlings are inspired by the
traditional aviator jackets and look great with their waxed exterior and a dark blue
fur lining. The down jackets work well for both the cold winter days and for
transitioning into the fall. The women’s version has a removable hood. The men's
jacket offers additional warmth through a button-off double, stand-up collar.
Porsche Design is a luxury brand with a particular focus on technically inspired
products. The brand was founded in 1972 by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, whose
products have stood for functional, timeless and purist design ever since. The
