BEAR CREEK COUNSELING CENTER BAPTIST CHURCH<br />
Bear Creek announces the opening of the Bear Creek Counseling Center as a joint ministry<br />
of Bear Creek Baptist Church and STCH Ministries Family Counseling. This program will seek<br />
to offer hope and direction for individuals, couples and families when life’s challenges arise.<br />
All full-time therapists are professionally trained and licensed in the State of Texas and offer<br />
confidential counseling that is clinically excellent and distinctively Christian. Appointments<br />
will be held at Bear Creek Church’s office at 5901 North Fry Road, Katy, TX 77449. Counseling<br />
topics may include marital issues, marriage enrichment, parenting challenges, childhood<br />
and adolescent struggles, conflict resolution and grief counseling. Although clients are<br />
encouraged to donate to support this ministry, there is no fee for counseling services. The<br />
only time a fee is applied is if a confirmed appointment is missed. Appointments are available<br />
throughout the day with some evening hours available. To schedule an appointment,<br />

When one has lost a spouse by death, the initial feeling is shock followed a by merciful<br />
numbness. It is when this numbness recedes that the pain becomes so intense and the<br />
loneliness begins. At this stage Lifeline can be helpful. We provide companionship of people<br />
who have experienced the same emotional upheaval and trauma. Lifeline provides a place<br />
to belong and help for building a life without a partner because we understand the world<br />
doesn’t stop for your grief, no matter how bad your heart is broken.<br />
Lifeline Support Group for Widows and Widowers meets on the first Thursday of each<br />
month for a general meeting and has activities throughout the month. We are a mutual<br />

an environment where survivors of suicide loss can find understanding, support, validation<br />
