Mother’s Day special from local artists, beaded
and silver jewellery, pottery, make-up, cushions,
cakes, candles, homebaking, confectionary and
much more. Entry includes Tea and Coffee: Adults

Beginners Spoon Carving
Workshop
The Cut Visitor Centre, Cornalees Bridge,
Greenock 10am to 3.30pm
Learn how to carve a wooden spoon! A very
rewarding skill to master, come away with a hobby
and product at the end of the day! COST: £25.

Festival: Children’s Poetry
Competition

Families welcome! Prizes: £30, £20, £10. All
entrants will also win a family ticket to the Grand
Finale on Sunday 27 March, in the Parish Church,
where the poems will be performed. Cost: FREE
Poems should be illustrated by the children and
their families, and will be displayed at the RSPB.
NB: Adults are very welcome at the workshop,
but attendance is obligatory for children wishing
to enter the competition.
