CONCRETE DENSIFYING + STAIN GUARD
All of our Dancer Concrete Design Select Step floor
installations include a two-application process,
utilizing a premium concrete densification treatment
and a stain guard conditioner. These products
penetrate into the concrete surface to increase
abrasion resistance, decrease permeability, maintain
co-effiecients of friction for slip-resistance, and provide
one of the most durable hard-surface flooring systems
available.
*An additional 3rd Step floor conditioning is recommended in food
areas such as cafeterias or restaurants.
** Polished Concrete Floor Sealers are not recommended in wet rooms
such as bathrooms or kitchens. A urethane-sealed floor will work best.
URETHANE SEALING
A urethane sealer blocks the pores of the concrete
substrate to protect against water damage, staining,
salts, and mold spores. This is the recommended
solution when wanting a "polished" look in wet rooms
such as light-duty kitchens and bathrooms.

CONTROL JOINT FILLING
Control Joints are placed in the concrete slab when
poured. They are planned by an architect in the
design of a space. These joints are filled with a
polyurea compound to protect the joints' edges from
chipping while keeping dirt and debris out of the
joints. This filler is available in many color options to
compliment the floor.
