It is a place where you can capture subscribers/followers, record a
daily journal of what each day brings you. You could be using a
domain name for your resume.
If you come across a great product offer and you have the chance
to be an affiliate for that offer, then having your own domain to
promote that offer is a smart move because a lot of other people are
too lazy to go to that extent.
