PRODUCTION
Making the best use of local skills
MARCEL ROBBEZ MASSON’s organization is today streamlined to reflect the specialist
knowledge available in the different geographical areas where its factories are located.
6 divisions work alongside each other to optimize their efficiency.
FRANCE : Headquarters: major decisions, logistics, administration and production.
Part of the machine production is still based in France.
ITALY : Located in Arezzo, one of the world’s most productive jewellery areas, the
factory combines Italian know-how with Italian design, manufacturing methods and a
comprehensive subcontractor network.
PORTUGAL : This was one of the first factories to be established outside of France.
The advanced industrial experience and skills of their French colleagues in all major
jewellery manufacturing areas have since been transferred to more than 80 workers.
MOROCCO : Advantageous due to its proximity to Europe and its low labour costs,
the Moroccan factory now products nearly all of the jewellery for MURAT Paris (silver
and gold-plated jewellery). It also has the technical skills required to produce certain
pieces of gold jewellery, in particular electroformed components.
INDIA : Famous for its diamonds and a world leader in the precious and semi-precious
stone market. In 2004, an exclusive partnership was launched with a DTC Sightholder
based on know-how sharing.
CHINA : As China is renowned for its know-how in certain stone-setting techniques,
in particular for diamonds, MARCEL ROBBEZ MASSON, along with its Indian partner,
decided to relocate part of its production further east.
