Bootlegger was an outcross bull we added to our AI battery to add some calving<br />
ease, style and maternal strength. We quickly incorporated him into the heifer<br />
pen with great results. His first daughters are calving this year at our place and<br />
all have phenomenal udder structure. Moonshine is a dark, dark red bull that is<br />
soggy through his middle and carries a great hair coat. His dam is a first calving<br />
Commotion daughter that is built very similarly to him with a big sweeping rib<br />
and refined front end. The type of bull I wouldn’t mind having an entire pen of.<br />

Royal Time is a soft-sided, wide-barrelled, cherry red bull that will certainly<br />
impress. He’s got a white muzzle and a spot of white on his forehead. Royal<br />
Time has the thick top and wide hind end to really make a mark on a herd.<br />
His sire, NUG Royal Red, did an excellent job for us raising bulls that are the<br />
right type and daughters that look like they’ll be producers. BEE Royal Time’s<br />
10 year old dam is an excellent producer that shows no sign of slowing down.<br />
Sons have sold through the bull sale to many great neighbours; Bill Guenther<br />
at Bentley, Urs and Andy Mueller at Bentley, Lonica Farms at Bentley and Darcy<br />
Zadunayski at Vimy.<br />

This is a personal favourite of ours who was part of the show pen this summer<br />
along side his first-calving dam. Maybe not as big on the performance as some<br />
of his larger-framed pen mates but he might be the thickest. He is naturally<br />
heavy-muscled, showing the ‘herd bull look’ at a very young age. His Beef King<br />
dam did a heck of a job weaning him off over 800lbs in the middle of August.<br />
Another strong cow family that has multiple feature bulls in the sale. Royal<br />
King’s grand dam has one of the stand out black bulls this year selling as lot<br />
49 (67D).<br />
