immediately following the Special Bred Cow Sale at Winnipeg Livestock 

Sales. 

The offering of bulls that has been put together by this year’s consignors 

is by far the best to date. As you sort through the bull pens in Winnipeg 

take note of the consistency of quality each breeding program has to offer. 

Bulls that are raised to go out at breeding season and work hard and 

get the job done. The bulls are not pushed on feed, they are athletic and 

structurally sound. Bulls that have some rib shape to them and have natural 

muscle shape, thickness and have moderate birth weights yet maintaining 

the performance needed to get those EXTRA POUNDS at weaning time.

Welcome fellow consignors, bidders and buyers, family and friends, to Transcon’s 4th Annual Winnipeg Simmental Bull Sale! Once again we are very pleased to take 

part in this sale with our trusted sale management team Transcon Livestock Corp, and work along with the great people who operate Winnipeg Livestock Yards. This 

year we were provided with a few new opportunities to step things up a little. With an earlier sale date this gives us the opportunity to do what we have been striving for. 

This is a positive change for both the present and future. 

We feel this is our best pen of yearling bulls we have raised to date! From the overall consistency, variety of genetics, to the number of bulls we can offer customers, 

the bull pen displays hard work and studying of genetic selection. 

This year we are proud and pleased to offer 25 yearling bulls, from Polled and Horned Full Fleckvieh, to Reds and Blacks. We are keen on offering a variety of pedigree 

from some of our top herd sires such as Sibelle Coda, Sunville Ace, Redpath’s Dbl XL, Double Bar D (Jambalaya), and Booster, as well as from AI sires such as 

Radium, Wheatland El Toro, Absolute and United. 

All bulls are fully vaccinated and on a feed program raised without creep, designed to grow structurally correct in timely manner and promote longevity, with good feet, 

fertility, and female progeny with good udders. Bulls are Ivomec’d and recieved their first dose of Fusogaurd. Semen drawn on any bulls prior to sale day will be used 

for in herd use only. Feel free to contact us anytime with questions or better yet stop by the pen and see for yourself! Visitors are always welcome. Looking forward to

For the buyer’s convenience if needed, bulls can return to the farm free of charge until April 15th with delivery arrangements until May 1st. Customers unable to receive

BID - Every animal consigned to the sale must be sold by auction. No private sales will be allowed 

except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted. 

Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. 

SALES TAXES – Applicable sales taxes will be charged on semen, embryos and trucking fees (if 

listed), respective to the home province of the buyer, not the seller. 

DISPUTES - In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no

SHIPPING - Assistance will be given in making shipment after the sale but no risk is assumed

BREEDERS GUARANTEE - As per applicable Canadian Breed Association Breeding Guarantee 

guidelines. Copies are available at the sale settlement desk to be picked up by the buyer at any 

time. In no event shall the seller be responsible for reimbursing more than the purchase price. 

EXCEPTION TO GUARANTEE - In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical 

reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void. 

HEALTH - It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal 

into his province or state. Transcon Livestock Corp. assumes no responsibility for the health status 

of any animal in the sale. 

ACCIDENTS - Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, 

neither the Sales Management, auctioneer, consignors. or Association assumes any responsibility in 

this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property. 

RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS - The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract 

between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following 

purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and obligations of the 

two parties connected thereto are not covered by the terms and conditions of this sale.
