Itinerary
Day 1: Madrid Arrive in Madrid and enjoy
a welcome drink and orientation session at the
hotel this evening. Accommodation at the hotel.
Day 2: Madrid Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning city tour of Madrid where we discover
the medieval origins of the city, like the Arabic
fortress at the Barrio de la Morería, We drive
through the courtesan district of the Hapsburgs
with its’ Renaissance and Baroque style
buildings. Also Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and
Plaza de la Villa; the Madrid of the Bourbons,
the Royal Palace (visit inside), Cibeles and
Neptuno Fountains and the Puerta de Alcalá.
We also visit contemporary Madrid - the areas
of the Gran Vía, Castellana, the district of
Salamanca, Plaza Castilla and Parque del Oeste,
as well as the commercial and financial districts
of Modern Madrid. Balance of the day is free to
continue exploring the wonders that the city
has to offer. B
Day 3: MADRID • CORDOBA • SEVILLE
After breakfast we drive southward along the
land of Don Quixote, “The man from La Mancha”
and along the way admiring the many vineyards.
From the area of “Despeñaperros” we travel to
the area of Andalucía, a region of great culture
and history. We reach Cordoba where we take
an impressive tour of its Mosque and other
important cultural sites. In the afternoon, after
a short two hour drive we reach Seville. Dinner
and accommodation at the hotel. B D
Day 4: SEVILLE Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning Panoramic city tour visiting also the
Cathedral (visit inside), the second largest in the
Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome. We also
visit the Santa Cruz Quarter where you will be
transported back a few centuries, a place that
still maintains its’ Spanish roots. Afternoon at
leisure for you to discover more of the flavours
of this lively city. Dinner and accommodation at
the hotel. Optional Flamenco tour ($). B D
Day 5: SEVILLE • GRANADA After breakfast
we drive east through the Caliphate road to
the heart of Andalucia observing an endless
number of olive trees along the way. We
arrive in Granada, an incredible and amazing
monumental city. Visit the world famous
Alhambra. Dinner and accommodation at
the hotel. Optional Gipsy Flamenco show at
Sacromonte quarter ($). B D
Day 6: GRANADA • TOLEDO • MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel. We drive northward and
arrive at the impressive Imperial city of Toledo.
Toledo has been declared a World Heritage Site
where three cultures, Christians, Muslims and
Jews have lived together. The City tour includes
some of the most famous monuments related to
Spanish history and culture. We later continue
to Madrid. Accommodation at the hotel. B
Day 7: Madrid Breakfast at the hotel and
end of our services. B
