Itinerary
Day 1: Rome Upon arrival in Rome, transfer to
your hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.
Day 2: Rome After breakfast, enjoy a guided
half-day tour of the eternal city including Trevi
Fountain, Pantheon, Navona Square and St.
Peter's Basilica. The tour ends at St. Peter's.

Day 3: Rome • Pompeii • Sorrento
Early morning departure for Naples, where we
enjoy a panoramic tour. On to Pompeii, the
famous Roman city destroyed by the volcanic
eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Lunch in a
local restaurant, before visiting the excavations.
We continue to Sorrento dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Capri excursion • Optional Blue
Grotto ($) Depart for Capri by ferry for
a guided tour of the Island by minibus. Stop
in Anacapri for a short visit. Lunch at a local
restaurant. Leisure time for shopping, strolling,
people watching or the optional excursion to
the Blue Grotto ($). Ferry back and return to
your hotel. Dinner and overnight. B L D
Day 5: Sorrento • Amalfi Coast
Transfer to Amalfi. You will have a whole
afternoon at leisure in Amalfi to visit this small
jewel on your own. Relax the sea, shop or simply
sip on an aperift and people watch! Dinner and
overnight at hotel. B D
Day 6: Amalfi Coast Breakfast at hotel.
Today you’ll enjoy an entire day at leisure.

Day 7: Amalfi Coast • Florence
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to railway
station for your train to Florence. Upon arrival
transfer on your own to hotel. Rest of the day
at leisure for a first visit of the city on your own.

Day 10: Florence • Cinque Terre
• Florence This morning we depart for
a full day excursion to the enchanting Cinque
Terre (five villages), suspended between sea
and land and listed by UNESCO as a World
Heritage site. We arrive in La Spezia and reach
Riomaggiore by train continuing to visit the
villages of Manarola and Monterosso. Take the
boat (depending on weather/sea condition) to
Vernazza, a seaside town. Lunch is included en
route. Return to Florence for overnight. B L
Recommended to bring comfortable clothes,
swimwear and sun protection.
Day 11: Florence • Rome Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer on your own to Santa Maria Novella
Station to catch the train to Rome. Upon arrival
in Rome, transfer to hotel on your own. Evening
at leisure. B
Day 12: Rome • Airport After breakfast,
transfer to Fiumicino airport. B

Day 1: Rome Benvenuti to Rome! Transfer on
own to your hotel. Rest of your day at leisure. B
Day 2: Rome After breakfast explore Rome
on your own. Suggestions: Visit the Sistine
Chapel and Vatican Museums, take a “Hop-on
Hop-off” bus and travel all through the city
or how about an “Espresso & Gelato” tour of
Rome! This evening enjoy a night tour with a
panoramic visit of Rome. (meet at 8:30pm at
the I LOVE ROME office). Overnight. B
Day 3: Rome Spend the day exploring the
wonders of Rome at your own pace. B
Day 4: Rome • Florence Pick up at your
hotel at 6:30am and transfer to the train station.
Early departure by train to Florence. You will
visit such main attractions as: the Duomo, the
Bapistery, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Uffizi Gallery
(inside, with Skip The Line entrance). After lunch
spend the afternoon exploring on your own.

Day 5: Florence Leisure day to explore
Florence on your own or take a day trip to Pisa
