In 2006 R&D Department of <strong>Crimea</strong> Titan has started<br />
intensive researches <strong>for</strong> <strong>de</strong>velopment of <strong>the</strong> <strong>new</strong> premium<br />
gra<strong>de</strong>s of titanium dioxi<strong>de</strong> <strong>for</strong> different applications:<br />
- Paints <strong>and</strong> <strong>Coatings</strong><br />
- <strong>Plastics</strong><br />
- Laminate <strong>Paper</strong><br />
In 2012 year project was launched <strong>for</strong> building of <strong>the</strong> <strong>new</strong><br />
plant <strong>for</strong> titanium dioxi<strong>de</strong> manufacturing in Armyansk,<br />
<strong>Crimea</strong>, Ukraine.<br />
Approximate period of project works <strong>and</strong> building is 2012-<br />
2015<br />
<strong>New</strong> plant capacity will be 120 000 MT per year<br />
