Announcements by the Consumer
Association Make Me
Furious
It makes me furious when
sweeping statements are made,
clearly without checking and
only based on dubious “scientific”
reports, thus manipulating
public opinion, especially that
of patients.
I assume that such comments
are influenced more by a lack of
knowledge than by the interests
of lobbyists, but this is a highly
dangerous state of affairs.
My wife contracted three different
types of cancer tumours.
Besides the operations, she had
to submit to more than 50 radiation
treatment sessions and radioiodine
treatment. On the
long journey through more than
16 years of cancer, my wife and
I have encountered many different
medical approaches. In
1990, we stopped counting
when we reached method number
40! In all these years we met
great lack of understanding and
narrow-mindedness, having to
fight for many things that
should really be possible without
a struggle. Mainstream medicine
described my wife as a
treatment burnout case and
gave her six months to live in
August 1986. But we have been
successful in our search for alternative
treatments.
Enthusiastic Reader
I will continue to commit myself
to the Dr. Rath Health Alliance.
I thank Dr. Rath from the bottom
of my heart for his efforts
and tireless educational work. I
am also grateful for the monthly
issues of ’Rath International’.
It is very informative and interesting.
I have to say that I have
seldom read such a good journal.
I can hardly wait for the
next one to arrive, because it
tells me how the Health Alliance
is working and developing.
I wish Dr. Rath and his
team a great deal of luck and
success in the future!
Interesting Press Article
The editors’ attention has been
drawn to an interesting press article
in ’Die Zeit’. The machinations
of the pharmaceutical industry
are laid bare under the
headline ’Pill Producers – the
Shocking Revelation’. The article
says: “Literally any old muck
can be made into a medicine in
Readers’ letters
Germany. And once a medicine
has arrived on the market, a
couple of corpses would be required
before any one in the
medicines authority reacts. This
goes to show the huge influence
that pharmaceutical companies
exercise over the authorities.
Not many medical journals
in this country dare to voice
their criticisms, because they
are largely financed by advertisements
by pharmaceutical
companies”.
A Brilliant Book!
Dear Dr. Rath, your book ’Why
Animals Don’t Get Heart Attacks-
But People Do’ is absolutely
first-rate. I have about
75 copies and lend them to my
patients and colleagues.
Dr. Rath, you are fighting
heroically in the best interests
of democracy and public health,
