Education Workshop Series
Our AME-Workshops and Masterclasses
are inspired by
different arts, like literature,
painting, and architecture or philosophy.
Taking this into consideration it is a big
chance to create educational processes
to facilitate an aesthetic experience of
ordering interconnections between the
different arts and music from the famous
dynasties in the old time to the famous
periods of classic time of the well-known
composers up to the musical and cultural
needs of our modern society.
It’s probably the astonishing scenery
of the Salzkammergut region, with
its pristine lakes and the awesome
mountains, that inspired famous musicians
to compose great music.
Great artists like Brahms, Bruckner,
Mahler or Strauss used to come
over and over again, flattered by the
beauty of this unique landscape, also
declared to an UNESCO world heritage
place, and composed operas, that
count to the worlds greatest repertoire
of classical music until now!

Cultural Excursion to Hallstatt
Guided tour with information on cultural and arts topics. Small Boats
tour on Hallstatt Lake. During summertime also the possibility to go
swimming at Hallstatt Lake.

Cultural Excursion to Bad Ischl
Guided tour with information on cultural and arts topics, excursions
to places of interest in and around our town where famous composers
like Brahms, Mahler, Léhar, Strauss or artists like Klimt stayed
and worked.

Regional Music, Theater or Concert visit
Programm will be arranged shorthand according to availability at the
workshop date

(Food and accommodation are not included in the course fee. Set menus for our participants
(approximately €10.00 p./P.) can be arranged. Also not included is the Ticket price for the Concert/
Theater Visit on the last evening as well as transportation coasts for boat and bus to the
Cultural Excursion Sites approx. €15.00 p./P. for all 3 days.
Notice: Price calculated on a basis of 30 participants up. (If the group consists of less than 30
students the costs and/or program will be adapted according to the group size.)

Visa: We send official invitiation letters on Governmental Upper Austrian Music School stationary from an official governmental
email (.gv.at-suffix) to ease visa processing.
All participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
Parents and/or guardians are responsible for under-age participants. We do not provide any supervision for under-age participants!
Detailed correspondence concerning accommodation and travel will only be entered into after students have registered.
AME will only proceed with the reservation of accommodation when the deposit has been received.
