Grove Community Center. Family
members are welcome to participate.

Pack 767 Committee/Parent/Leader Meeting
Monday, November 1st at 6:30 PM
Location – Parish Center Sunroom
All parents and leaders are invited and encouraged to
attend our monthly committee meetings. If anyone
has a great idea or wants to suggest changes in the
way we are doing things for the boys, please come
and present your ideas…we would love to see some
new faces! Watch your email for details!
Volunteer Needed!
We are looking for a new Committee Chair as Jen
will be moving on in the spring. We cannot re-charter
without a Committee Chair in place, and looking for
someone to shadow Jen until the spring. Please
contact Jen Teachout for details.

Cub Master Corner
Responsibility -This month’s core value is responsibility. Responsibility is
fulfilling our duty to help others and take care of ourselves. It is behaving
safely and appropriately without being told. When you repeat or say The Cub
Scout Promise, “I …. promise to do my best, to do my duty to God and my
country…” you are saying that you accept responsibility for your actions. Every
time you accept responsibility you are defining your character, who you are as
person. Jim Rohn has this to say about character and responsibility,
“Character isn't something you were born with and can't change, like your
fingerprints. It's something you weren't born with and must take responsibility
for forming.” Take care of yourself and others around you by accepting the
responsibilities your parents give you and doing them to the best of your ability.

-COMMUNITY SERVICE-
Community Service is an important aspect of scouting. Den
16 will be going to Feed My Starving Children this month
as a part of their community service project. We’d love to
see the other dens participate in other community service
activities!

Wreath sales are off to a great
