hilltop perch, Taxco’s cobblestone<br />

streets, old buildings and beautiful town<br />

squares hold hundreds of years of history.<br />

Visit the stunning Santa Prisca church,<br />

one of the most impressive in Mexico,<br />

dating from 1759, built by Jose de la<br />

Borda, a French immigrant who stumbled<br />

upon the Taxco silver mines making him<br />

one of the richest men in New Spain.<br />

Taxco today is known for its high quality<br />

of silver mines and extremely skilled<br />

craftsmen. You will have the chance to<br />

see and purchase silver pieces made by<br />

hand by skilled Mexican craftsmen.<br />
