Paroled and transferred to Aiken's Landing, James River, VA where he was received on August 5, 1862, for exchange. Norval Wilson, Mr. James W. Jones to Miss Lydia A. Mock, all of Charlestown". Friday, 30 Jan 1885 -From the Charlestown Spirit: "We are pleased to learn that Mr. Geo. W. Mock of this place has a good prospect of becoming the beneficiary of about eighty thousand dollars' worth of real estate in PA - from his deceased grandmother and through an aunt now living." Friday, 5 Oct 1888 Married: At the Carter House in Charlestown on 24 Sep 1888, Mr. George W. Feltner of Warren Co., VA to Miss Sarah 13. Mauck of this county. Friday, 25 Oct 1889 In Shepherdstown at the M.E. Parsonage, by Rev. H.C. McDaniel, 8 Oct 1889, Mr. Charles Spong of Sharpsburg, MD and Miss Katie Muck of Shepherdstown. Friday, 27 Nov 1891 "Mrs. Mary!. Mock, wife of Mr. George W. Mock, died at her home in Charlestown on Tuesday." Thursday, 2 Dec 1897 "Miss Susannah Muck, an aged resident of this place, died last night at 9 o'clock at the home of Mr. Elmer Dusing. She had been sick for a long time and her death was a result of a complication of diseases. The deceased, who was a sister of Mr. Thomas Muck, was a native of Frederick Co., MD and was 75 years and 9 months of age. She was a member of the Reformed Church and was a good woman. Her funeral will be held Friday morning at the Reformed Church in this place. Thursday, 15 Dec 1898 "Mrs. Sarah Ann Avis, widow of John S. Avis, died at her home in Charlestown last Sunday in her 80th years. She is survived by four daughters...Mrs. George A. Mock ...." Thursday, 23 Nov 1899 "Mr. William B. Mock an old resident of Charlestown, died last Sunday night in the 71st year of his age. A son and a daughter survive him." Thursday, 29 Mar 1900"Charles Muck, the five year old son of Mr. William Muck, died yesterday the the home of his parents in Shepherdstown." Thursday, 24 Jan 1907 "Mr. William Thom as Muck, one of the old residents of Shepherdstown, died at his home in this place Last Thursday, aged 75 years. He had been infirm in body and mind for a long time and his death was a happy release from earthly troubles. The deceased was a native of the vicinity of Middletown, MD. but moved here some fifty years ago where he has since lived most of the time. He is survived by two sons and three daughters. The funeral service was conducted at his late home on Saturday by rev. Dr. H.C. Haithcox and the body was interred in the Reformed Cemetery. Thursday, 4 June 1914 "Mrs. John Mock, formerly of Luray VA died last Thursday at her home at Duffields, from consumption, aged 38 years. Survived by her husband and 3 small children. She was buried Friday at Duffields." Thursday, 24 Jun 1915 "Charles Clayton Mock, who for the past twelve years has conducted the restaurant at the B&O station in Martinsburg, died last Saturday.
