The Magrath Zeniths come to the 4A provincials from a small farming community of 2200 people (150<br />
high school students) located 35 KM south of Lethbridge, Alberta. The Zeniths are the smallest school<br />
to ever win the Alberta 4A Provincial Championships, and they have won it 3X- 1978, 1993, and 2003.<br />
Widely considered the Hoosiers story of Canadian <strong>Basketball</strong>, Magrath alumni have been consistently<br />
found on the rosters of ACAC, CIS, and NCAA teams. Magrath has had some great success this year<br />
winning the Totem Hoop Classic (Ross Sheppard) The Zenith Classic, and finishing no lower than 3rd<br />
place in all tournament play. The most recent success was winning the 4A South Zone Championship<br />
title over rival Raymond Comets on Mar 11, 2017. Former Zenith standout and CIS Most Valuable Player<br />
with the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns- Danny Balderson began his tenure as Head Coach this<br />
year.<br />
