With seven returning seniors, 2017 was an anticipated year for our team. We attended 5 tournaments, which<br />
included: District 4, St. Francis (Calgary), LCI, BOB, and O’Leary. That combined with the strength of the South Zone<br />
this year made for one of the most demanding schedules in the school history. Out of the 16 teams in this provincial<br />
tournament, we’ve already played 11. 2017 was a particularly interesting year in the fact that we didn’t play a<br />
“home” game until March 4th (our senior night). Hat High and our gym were under a modernization that has left us<br />
with one of the nicest high school facilities in Alberta, so all of our regular season home games were played across<br />
the city at Crescent Heights High School. All in all our team is excited with what we’ve done as a team this year, and<br />
look forward to a great week of provincial basketball in Lethbridge this week.<br />
