<strong>Distinguished</strong> <strong>Citizen</strong> Honoree:<br />
<strong>Chris</strong> <strong>Mensing</strong> is President and CEO of AAA Pioneer Valley headquartered in West Spring-<br />
field, MA. As North America’s largest motoring and leisure travel organization, AAA pro-<br />
vides nearly 52 million members with travel, insurance, financial and automotive-related<br />
services. AAA has over 189,000 members residing in the Pioneer Valley. Since it’s founding<br />
in 1902, the not-for-profit, fully tax-paying AAA has been a leader and advocate for the<br />
safety and security of all travelers. Mr. <strong>Mensing</strong> began his career with AAA in November<br />
of 2004. Prior to joining AAA, Mr. <strong>Mensing</strong> was Business Unit Manager for Sonoco Prod-<br />
ucts Company. Mr. <strong>Mensing</strong> was born in Staten Island, NY and grew up in Piscataway,<br />
NJ. He received his BS degree in Business from Furman University, Greenville, SC and his<br />
MBA from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC.<br />
Mr. <strong>Mensing</strong> lives in Wilbraham, MA with his wife Martha. Martha and <strong>Chris</strong> have two<br />
children, Kyle and Marquet.<br />
Active in the national AAA Federation, Mr. <strong>Mensing</strong> serves as Chair of the Eastern Con-<br />
ference of Clubs, Past Chair of the Northeast Conference of Clubs, and Secretary of the<br />
Smaller Clubs Conference. He is also a Trustee for the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safe-<br />
ty. He also serves on the Board of a new, local startup company, CellAssist LLC. Active<br />
in numerous community service organizations, and youth sports, he has also served on the<br />
United Way of Pioneer Valley Annual Campaign. In 2011, he chaired the Scouts’ Distin-<br />
guished <strong>Citizen</strong> <strong>Award</strong> Campaign.

Guest Speaker: Vince Wilfork, NE Patriots #75<br />
Vince Wilfork, star New England Patriots team member for eight seasons,<br />
is widely regarded to be one of the premier defensive tackles<br />
in the NFL, and has been named both to the All-Pro Team and the Pro<br />
Bowl four times. He was also selected by his teammates as defensive<br />
co-captain for the past 4 seasons.<br />
Vince has played in 122 regular season games with 112 starts for the<br />
Patriots, and the Patriots own a 95-27 (.779) winning record in these<br />
games. Vince was a leader on the first team in NFL history to complete<br />
a 16-0 regular season in 2007, and to tie the NFL’s all-time mark<br />
with 18 overall victories and set a league record for point differential,<br />
out-scoring their opponents by 315 points.<br />
Vince was a Patriots first round draft pick in 2004, and has earned<br />
honors as a member of the New England Patriots 50th Anniversary<br />
Team, the Patriots All-2000s Team, and was a proud member of the<br />
New England Patriots Super Bowl XXXIX Champions.<br />
Vince and his wife Bianca have three children, and reside in the<br />
greater Boston area. Vince has been involved in charity work, and<br />
has founded a foundation that supports diabetes research.
