its General Meeting held in October,
Auxiliary Co-Presidents Judith L. Spiegel
and Doris B. De Sarno presented a check
to John P. McGee, President/CEO of
was committed in 2000 and represents the
largest gift ever issued by the Auxiliary.
“This was a thrilling moment for us and a
very big milestone in the life of the
Auxiliary,” stated Mrs. Spiegel.
That donation was followed by a second
check representing the Auxiliary’s initial
payment toward its $2.5 million pledge
to the JFK Medical Center’s 2004 Capital
Campaign. The money is earmarked for
the new ambulatory care building,
which will be named JFK Auxiliary
