GRAYSON LAKES COMMUNITY POOL
The Grayson Lakes Community Pool is open between March 1 st and
October 31 st to all residents and their guests from the hours of 6 AM
to 10 PM, Tuesday through Sunday. Note that the pool is closed for
heavy cleaning on Mondays with the exception of Memorial Day and
Labor Day. Chemical levels are high on Mondays so the pool is closed
for your safety.
Grayson Lakes Pool Rules Highlights:
• Residents are allowed 4 guests per household and guests are
to be accompanied by a resident 18 or older.
• All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by
an adult (18 or older).
• No food, drinks or gum are allowed in the pool.
• No pets are allowed in the pool area.
• Furniture does not belong in the pool and can cause damage
to the pool and the furniture itself if misused.
• The pool and pool area are cleaned twice a week. Please help
maintain the facilities so that it can be enjoyed by all our residents.
A pool access card is required to enter the pool. If you do not have

BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR
Please be a good neighbor - keep the sidewalks clear of vehicles,
check for low hanging tree branches and overgrown shrubs near the
sidewalks, clean up after your pets, put yard waste at the curb only
the night before and remove garbage cans from visible sight except
for trash days. The trash service includes pickup from your garage, so
only yard waste needs to be placed at the curb.

Committee, Communications Committee, Events Committee, Lakes
& Irrigation Committee, Landscape Committee and Safety & Security

WHY IS APRIL 18TH THE TAX DEADLINE?
Tax day falls on April 18, 2017. That’s the deadline for filing taxes on
income earned in 2016. Usually, April 15th is the day taxes are due. But
in 2017, that falls on a Saturday. On Monday, the District of Columbia
celebrates Emancipation Day. That affects taxes the same way federal
holidays do. Emancipation Day is normally April 16th, but that’s a Sunday.
Therefore, the tax deadline is pushed out to the following Tuesday,
April 18th. That gives taxpayers three extra days to file their returns.
