the late John Barlow we
will be inviting our match
day sponsors to chose the
man of the match, and
present the award. At the
end of the season the player
with the most awards
will be presented with the
John Barlow trophy.
Today’s match sponsor is Ernie West from Canterbury, and
we are very grateful for his support.
Ernie isn’t able to get to as many home games as he would
like, but we have seen him on the coach trips for our FA Cup
and FA Vase matches.
Ernie will be choosing todays man of the Match and presenting
him a reward after the game

wasn’t able to be at the
game due to other commitments,
so our Chairman was on
hand to present Gary Mickelborough
with his Man of the Match
award.
It was another good all round
performance after City were
reduced to 10 men early in the
game. Gary was the main
attacking point as City pushed
forward, as Alfie Nunn was forced to cover as centre back and Dave Pilcher took a deeper
role than normal.
However, Gary created a number of chances with his powerful runs, not only for himself
and his team mates. His shots at goal during this match forced the keeper to make a couple
of good saves.
