Call of the Wild...<br />

Make your Easter Holidays a little bit wilder<br />

with free family fun at <strong>Surrey</strong> Wildlife Trust’s<br />

Bay Pond nature reserve in Godstone. Have a go<br />

at pond-dipping, minibeast hunting, woodland<br />

crafts and even meet some real owls at the spring<br />

open day on Saturday 1 <strong>April</strong> from 11am-4pm.<br />

Entry is free but donations are welcome and<br />

there will be a small charge for some activities.<br />

On Friday 7 <strong>April</strong>, at Farnham Maltings, the<br />

Vantage Point Wine Festival will showcase over<br />

100 international wines including Champagne<br />

and premium wines. Local wines and producers<br />

will also feature with their own special section<br />

to celebrate the strength and diversity of wine<br />

production in <strong>Surrey</strong>. Find all this plus experts<br />

A fun and creative way to keep the kids amused<br />

this easter, The Lightbox’s spring children’s<br />

workshops offer afternoons creating great<br />

pieces such as Easter Bonnets or pen and ink<br />

caricatures. There are three bookable workshops<br />

on Tuesday 4, Thursday 6, and Tuesday 11<br />

<strong>April</strong> at £8 per child. There are also drop in<br />

sessions on Wednesday 5, Wednesday 12 and<br />

Thursday 13 <strong>April</strong>, for children aged four and<br />

up, with free entry (though a donation of £2 is<br />

The main event of the Leith Hill Music<br />

Festival, the Festival Concert will run each<br />

evening at Dorking Halls from Thursday 6<br />

which is full of life, and packed with works<br />

of various periods and styles so there is<br />
