Wine producer, Caliterra’s philosophy is to craft environmentally
friendly wines under the concepts of precision winegrowing and
sustainable vineyard management, where each variety stands out

Its privileged location in Chile’s Colchagua Valley, huge
diversity of soil types, highly favourable climate and head
winemaker, Rodrigo Zamorano’s enormous passion for
this variety, has led to the creation of world-class Malbecs
at Caliterra. Quality Malbec grapes are planted in selected
lots on the Estate and Rodrigo’s aim to is produce a
distinctly Chilean expression of this varietal.
Malbec has long been associated with Argentina and
Cahors but Rodrigo Zamorano is fast gaining a reputation
for creating world-class Chilean Malbec. The most recent
of which is the Aventura Malbec 2015 - beautifully elegant,
combining rich red fruit with beguiling herbal notes.
