TAYLOR’S CHIP DRY
Taylor’s pioneered dry white aperitif port
over seventy years ago. Chip Dry was
first blended in 1934, since when it has
acquired a devoted following throughout
the world.
Tasting Notes
Delicate nose combining fresh fruit
fragrances with the mellow aromas and
oak hints of a traditional white port. Fresh,
lively palate, with good flavour and crisp,
dry finish. Serve chilled, maybe even over
ice. The Portuguese drink ‘portonic’ which
is a mix of equal parts of white port and
tonic water, served in a highball glass
with a squeeze of lemon or some mint to
garnish.

A vintage port which harnesses the massive
structure and powerful fruitiness of the
2009 harvest with elegance and poise.
Tasting Notes
Opens on a vigorous note of concentrated
black woodland fruit laced with raspberry
and plum. Around this dense fruity core,
with its vibrancy and minerality is a
complex aura of citrus fruit blossom and
wild herbal scents of mint and lavender.
