BE POSITIVE
order to ensure life fits into a pattern that we are comfortable
with. Faith does not always respect the order of life or the order
of how things have always been. When faith faces uncertainty and
unpredictability it responds powerfully with innovation and
creativity. Faith in relationship to God is what we need as we are
never fully in control of where the will of God will take us. Even
when purpose is present, it does not always mean purpose is
clear. So we that are faithful seek the clarity of purpose not just
the power of purpose. Purpose discerns that there is a real and
valid plan for our lives, while faith trusts that the plan we are
committed to will accomplish what God has designed. Whatever
is revealed in our day it is still a part of that plan to bring us into
the fullness of what God intended by His will.
Purpose
God uses purpose, His divine thought process, to help us learn
how to relate to the relevancy of His planning. What amazes us
about purpose is the level of thought that God invests into the
planning and preparation of lives. Nothing is mistimed or
misplaced with purpose. His omniscience about the entire process
of our lives and calling gives our faith confidence to rely on the
initiation and execution of the plan. It is what our faith clings to
