strength of God to not only believe what God has revealed in us,<br />
but the courage to take action on what has been revealed.<br />
The Struggle With God<br />
It is difficult enough that Jeremiah had to deal with the transition<br />
of his youth, yet this was not his greatest faith challenge.<br />
Accepting and receiving his commission remained his greatest<br />
challenge. The commission was to preach and prophesy far<br />
beyond his years of experience. Jeremiah has a conversation<br />
within his own spirit about the weight of what he is commissioned<br />
to do. How often do we rehearse and replay the thing that God is<br />
calling us to and contemplate how it all will be pieced together<br />
not realizing that God has already pieced the entire process<br />
together. Our faith is equipped to decipher what is a directive<br />
from God and what is discussion with God. God is not accustomed<br />
to having conversation about what He has already commissioned.<br />
When He speaks, heaven and earth come to attention. His word<br />
creates where there is void, transforms where there is emptiness<br />
and enlightens where there is confusion. The internal<br />
conversations that we have with our faith about the call and<br />
purpose of God usually are ongoing. Jeremiah is not sharing his<br />
hesitancy publicly but privately he is venting about the struggle he<br />
