Why Eurosafe Solutions?<br />
The cutting edge design for these waterfront apartments created glazed areas<br />
accessible only by abseil. The client recognised the expertise of our team in rope<br />
access techniques which was essential to be able to carry out this project.<br />
The Solution<br />
We designed and installed an abseil access system of roof mounted abseil anchors<br />
to enable the client’s maintenance staff and contractors to be able to access this<br />
area of the building.<br />

Concealed gutters and rooftop glazing require regular cleaning, which can be<br />
a challenge on a building of this type. The client was looking for a solution that<br />

We were able to demonstrate that we could provide safe access to the rooftop<br />
of this iconic building for planned maintenance activities.<br />
The Solution<br />
To initially gain access to the roof, we installed a Latchways ladder latch system<br />
affixed to a vertical access ladder. From the head of the ladder, we installed<br />
a number of Latchways ManSafe systems to create safe access around the roof.<br />

In the main auditorium of the building, safe access was required for rigging<br />
personnel to the high level sound boxes. The client also required safe access<br />
provision to the exterior of the building to carry out planned preventative<br />
maintenance. We were able to demonstrate that we had the expertise to<br />
carry out both the internal and external fall protection solutions.<br />
The Solution<br />
For the interior of the building, we designed, manufactured and installed a<br />
bespoke access system, combined with Pushlock eyebolts to the balconies<br />
to create a safe access system. Externally, we created a solution that involved<br />
bespoke access ladders and walkways, which we installed with a Latchways<br />
constant force system.<br />

The client required a fall protection solution for the creation of an extension to an<br />
existing station across the river <strong>Thames</strong>. This was a unique engineering challenge,<br />
with an equally unique roof design that incorporated arrays of photovoltaic panels,<br />
which require regular maintenance. We were able to demonstrate our expertise in<br />
providing bespoke solutions to this type of complex installation.<br />

This is an iconic building with numerous access and maintenance challenges,<br />
both internally and externally. We were able to demonstrate that we could<br />
overcome these challenges, whilst providing a visually, unobtrusive solution.<br />

we installed to create safe access to the roof of the main tower. We also<br />

bare concrete surfaces.<br />

Why Eurosafe Solutions?<br />
Natural light is a key element in the design of this award-winning station.<br />
To maximise light, regular cleaning of the glazing was required. The client<br />
recognised our expertise in providing solutions to this type of application.<br />
The Solution<br />
Over a three month contract period, we designed and installed an abseil access<br />
system, which comprised over 500m of Noracon abseil rail. This allowed for the<br />
regular cleaning of the glazed area by industrial roped access technicians.<br />

The O2 Arena<br />
Why Eurosafe Solutions?<br />
Internally riggers require access throughout the roof of the venue for the ongoing<br />
rigging of spectacular concerts and shows. Externally the structure requires<br />
ongoing maintenance to be carried out without disruption to what is one of<br />

<strong>London</strong>’s fastest growing tourist attractions. We were able to demonstrate our<br />
experience in providing bespoke internal and external fall protection solutions for<br />
many high profile visitor attractions across the UK.<br />
The Solution<br />
We installed a Latchways’ fall protection system throughout the venue to create<br />
safe access for riggers and tourists alike. Our solution included a customised<br />
access ladder which means anyone can safely climb the exterior of the O2 Arena.<br />
The route takes around 90 minutes for tourists to cross, with extension out of the<br />
roof of the O2 Arena at an altitude of 53 metres - where you can enjoy the view!<br />

This centre is one of the world’s most sustainable buildings. The iconic<br />
building represents the many sides of a crystal. The crystal is located on<br />
the water at the royal docks and is a striking contrast with the surrounding<br />
skyline, the 02 Arena, Wharf and the Emirates airline cable car that<br />
it passes.<br />

The client required a company which had the expertise of working on a<br />
complex roof arrangement, for what is one of the world’s most iconic buildings.<br />
The building, which is located on the Royal docks, represents the many sides<br />
of a crystal.<br />

We overcame the challenges of the complex roof structure with a combined<br />
walkway and Latchways constant force fall protection system. We also installed<br />

this building for the past eight years. We make two inspections<br />
every year for a week to ensure this property is safe and compliant.<br />

The client required a system that took into<br />
account the numerous roof levels, which comprise<br />
steeply pitched barrel vaulted roofs, clad in<br />
aluminium standing seam. Each of these roofs<br />
required its own scheme of planned maintenance.<br />
We had carried out installations on this type of<br />
complex building before and were therefore able<br />
to recommend an effective solution.<br />
The Solution<br />
We designed and installed a comprehensive<br />
system of fixed access ladders, complete with<br />
vertical ladder latch systems. These we combined<br />
with both horizontal and inclined Latchways fall<br />
protection systems.<br />
For this building, we devised an innovative<br />
solution that allows the user to work on the<br />
sloping roof of the building. Engineers can be<br />
securely attached on to this apartment building<br />
via a safe roof access system with a custommade<br />
aluminium ladder.<br />
