Spring is known all around the world as<br />

the time of year when new beginnings<br />

are abound. In many places, winter<br />

fosters a more stagnant lifestyle fueled<br />

by heavy foods, excessive intake of<br />

alcohol and a lack of fresh air. Spring is<br />

also the mark of a new growing season,<br />

which creates an abundance of local<br />

produce for most regions. It’s the best<br />

time to up your intake of fresh fruits and<br />

vegetables and there is no better way to<br />

renew your body’s internal balance<br />

than to juice. To help you get started,<br />

we’ve complied several healthy juicing<br />

recipes, so that you have plenty of<br />

options to choose from as you begin this<br />

new season.<br />

Whether cleanses are your thing, or you<br />

just prefer to consume an abundance of<br />

fruits and veggies by juicing each day,<br />

these healthy juicing recipes will aid in<br />

nourishing and ridding your body of<br />

toxins.<br />

Ultimate Green Juice<br />

I drink this juice daily, and with good reason. The base is<br />

celery, which is a little known nutritional powerhouse. It’s<br />

loaded with potassium, folic acid, magnesium, calcium,<br />

iron, phosphorus and essential amino acids. On top of all<br />

that, it’s one of the most alkalizing things you can put in<br />

your body. To the celery, I add kale, green apple, parsley,<br />

lime, lemon and ginger, creating an extremely potent,<br />

detoxifying cocktail.<br />

Ingredients:<br />

1 bunch celery<br />

4-5 kale leaves (preferably lacinato)<br />

1 green apple<br />

one big handful of flat leaf parsley leaves<br />

1 lime<br />

1 lemon<br />

1 inch of fresh ginger<br />

*Add one tablespoon of Organic Coconut Oil for additional<br />

health benefits.<br />

Beet Apple<br />

and Blackberry Juice<br />

Ingredients:<br />

3 small beets<br />

2-3 apples<br />

8 oz. blackberries<br />

1/2 inch fresh ginger
