After School Club<br />
The clubs take place in the Dining Hall of the <strong>Surbiton</strong> Assembly<br />
Rooms and are supervised by qualified staff with a ratio of one staff<br />
member to eight children. The clubs take place each day during<br />
term time and provide a safe, happy environment for your child.<br />
The Breakfast Club is available to all pupils from<br />
7.30am until the start of your child’s school day.<br />
A nutritious breakfast is available until 8.15am.<br />
This includes a choice of cereal, toast, yoghurt<br />
and fruit juice. Pupils are escorted to their<br />
School for the start of their School day.<br />
The After School Club is available from the<br />
end of your child’s School day until 6pm. A<br />
healthy snack is offered, including freshly<br />
made sandwiches, fruit and vegetables. There<br />
is a homework and study area and, at the end<br />
of the afternoon, staff-supervised films and<br />
educational games.<br />
Both clubs offer a variety of activities such as art<br />
and craft, construction kits, role play, board games<br />
and sport. If you are interested in using the clubs<br />
and have not already completed the Registration<br />
Form, please contact our Breakfast and After<br />
School Club Manager, Mrs Fiona Meaney, via email<br />

All children do need to be registered (a completed<br />
Registration Form together with the £10<br />
registration administration fee and passport<br />
photographs of the pupil and all adult collectors)<br />
before they can use the facility.<br />
Bookings<br />
Bookings for each term can be made via email:<br />
afterschoolclub@surbitonhigh.com and you are<br />
able to make reservations for three options:<br />
Session 1: 3.00pm – 4.30pm<br />
Session 2: 4.30pm – 6.00pm<br />
Both sessions: 3.00pm – 6.00pm<br />
When making your booking, please give your<br />
child’s name and class. Please also take into<br />
consideration any before or after school clubs<br />
and residential or other trips scheduled for the<br />
term. It is possible to make bookings for the<br />
whole or half term, although these do need to be<br />
renewed at the end of each term.<br />
Cancellations and Fees<br />
As the clubs are very popular, if you have booked a<br />
place but do not need to use it, then please do let us<br />
know via email (afterschoolclub@surbitonhigh.com)<br />
so that we may allocate the space to another pupil. 24<br />
hours’ notice is required to cancel bookings and there<br />
is a £16 charge made when places are booked but not<br />
taken up, with the exception of emergencies. Parents<br />
will be charged for late collection at a rate of £20.<br />
Fees for both clubs are added to the termly invoice,<br />
in arrears. Current charges are £6.75 for the Breakfast<br />
Club. The After School Club has a minimum charge<br />
of £6.20 for the first hour and afterwards is charged<br />
in 15 minute blocks of £1.55 per 15 minutes. There is<br />
a one-off £10 registration fee.<br />
