Once this parasitic and outmoded ruling class has been defeated, the technology available even now will have laid the basis for society to start transitioning through the stages of socialism until it reaches a modern form of communism, based on abundance instead of scarcity. The science of Marxism predicts that as the capitalist states are permanently defeated worldwide and revolutionary workers’ states replace them and take up the task of building socialism, the very existence of the state will become unnecessary and the state will start to wither away.
