With 700 years of tradition, the Choir of Trinity<br />

College, Cambridge, under the direction of<br />

Stephen Layton, is known as one of the best<br />

choirs in the world and tours widely to support<br />

that brilliant reputation. Following their soldout<br />

appearances in 2012 and 2014, the choir<br />

returns to enchant <strong>Music</strong> <strong>Niagara</strong> audiences<br />

with more of their heavenly singing. The program<br />

includes Arvo Pärt’s Bogoróditse Djévo,<br />

Vaughan Williams Mass in G Minor, and choral<br />

compositions by Byrd, Tallis, Purcell, Stucky,<br />

Rautavaara, Bax, and Howells. There will also<br />

be a short selection of organ works.<br />

The Choir of Trinity College, Cambridge<br />

comprises around thirty Choral Scholars, all<br />

of whom are ordinarily undergraduates of the<br />

College. This is the second concert they will<br />

perform in <strong>Niagara</strong>-on-the-Lake this year.<br />

Includes a capella works by Morley, Gibbons,<br />

Grainger, Rathbone, Shaw, and Naylor<br />
