This is where young musicians learn to express<br />
themselves as artists.<br />
Our unique curriculum offers a rare opportunity<br />
for artistic development. The 10-day Program<br />
provides students with the opportunity to experience<br />
their art not only through music, but also<br />
through poetry and text, movement and physical<br />
awareness, song and dance. Academy instructors<br />
are all professional artists, from the world of<br />
music, Shaw Festival ensemble and alumni.<br />
Workshops encourage fun, challenge bodies and<br />
inspire musical education. This participation has<br />
helped students win national and international<br />
competitions.<br />
The students play, eat and learn together in a<br />
spirit of conviviality, good fun and enrichment.<br />
Good performances come from skill, discipline<br />
and determination. Great performances are<br />
created through an appreciation of imagination<br />
and artistry.<br />
