Incentives<br />
12 investment subjects are<br />
determined for large scale<br />
investments in Turkey. With the<br />
minimum investment amounts,<br />
these subjects are supported by<br />
incentives in order to enhance<br />
competitiveness, technology and<br />
R&D activities in Turkey.<br />
Aforementioned investment subjects and minimum investment amounts<br />
can be found in the table below:<br />
The table of regional investment<br />
scheme mentioned in the previous<br />
section is also applicable for largescale<br />
investments.<br />
In addition to this information,<br />
incentives in tax reduction and<br />
social security premium support<br />
for employer’s share can be taken<br />
from one-grade lower region in the<br />
regional investment scheme for<br />
some combined regional and largescale<br />
investments.<br />

These investments can be either<br />
investments in Organized Industrial<br />
Zones or joint investments with at<br />
least 5 investor companies in the<br />
same sector to contribute a more<br />
integrated structure in the industry.<br />
To exemplify, Region 5-level<br />
investment in a joint investment<br />
partnership can benefit from 2% tax<br />
rate, which is reduced tax rate for<br />
region 6-level investments.<br />
