The Stop-In-Center is a place where students
can go for information and assistance with
academic and personal concerns, or general
information about NJIT. The Stop-ln Center is
staffed by NJIT students- Peer Counselors- who
have been trained in helping skills. Peer
Counselors can help students negotiate the “ red
tape” of NJIT, with information on basic college
procedures, registration, academic information and
financial aid. Perhaps most importantly, Peer
Counselors provide an open ear to those persons
who need someone to talk to.
