The "Year of the Dragon" is the first Lunar<br />
New Year special stamp issue in the fourth<br />
series released by Hongkong <strong>Post</strong>. The four<br />
stamps depict the Dragon in various forms.<br />
The focus of the stamp sheetlet falls on the<br />
flying dragon that rides on the clouds and<br />
travels through the mist, delivering a sense<br />
of solemnity and holiness.<br />
Hongkong <strong>Post</strong> also launches its first-ever<br />
silk stamp sheetlet for the occasion. A symbol<br />
of nobility and elegance, silk is perfect for<br />
highlighting the imperial grandeur of a<br />
soaring dragon, which heralds a blissful<br />
Year of the Dragon.<br />
Heartwarming Stamps<br />

To allow people to send loving words and warm blessings<br />
to their friends and relatives during the festive season,<br />
Hongkong <strong>Post</strong> takes the theme of Valentine's Day to<br />
release the Heartwarming Stamps Mini-pane with Fragrance.<br />
Using the same "Love and Care" design of the second series<br />
of Heartwarming Stamps of 2006, this issue features a<br />
refreshing layout and stamp tags with endearing images.<br />

Lunar Year of the Dragon [ 05 JANUARY 2012 ]<br />
The Macao <strong>Post</strong> adopted the “Heavenly Stems” calculation<br />
method to figure out the nature of the “Five Elements” in<br />
the fifth issue of the third series of Chinese Zodiac stamps<br />
“Lunar Year of the Dragon”. This year, the dragon’s nature<br />
from the “Five Elements” is water, so dragon with the<br />
background of Chinese traditional ink painting becomes the<br />
main character of the five stamps.<br />
A New Era of Smoke-free Macao [ 31 JANUARY 2012 ]<br />
Macao <strong>Post</strong> has released an issue with the theme “A New<br />
Era of Smoke-free Macao”, conveying the no smoking<br />
message to every corner of the world. The principal concept<br />
of the stamps highlight the crystal-clear wording of 2012<br />
and an aerial view of Macao, signifying the anti-tobacco<br />
action in the territory will transform Macao into a more<br />
fascinating, energetic and competitive city.
