WHAT’S ON WHERE SUMMER FUN WITH ANNA FIORENTINI The award winning Anna Fiorentini Theatre & Film School, for 4 -18 year olds, is holding two Summer Schools, 24 - 28 July and 31 July - 4 August. Your child can experience a Musical Adventure as they explore some of the best loved shows from the West End and Broadway and put on their own production for family and friends. As an added bonus they will also be taken to see the West End’s School of Rock and Annie. Throughout term times, students follow a part-time timetable of drama/film, singing and dance all taught by leading industry professionals at branches in Hackney, Camden, Greenwich and Docklands. Although the school boasts about the professional work many of its students have gained via its agency, including leading roles on TV, film and on the West End stage, it is just as proud of the academic achievements that its students attain due to increased confidence, self-esteem and a new thirst for learning. Students are encouraged to have fun at Oscar Nights, get involved with the Performance Troupe (which tours to hospitals, care homes and homes for the elderly), sit LAMDA exams and take part in shows, amongst other activities. To support their ethos of inclusivity, the school holds a number of fundraising events to help those that may struggle with fees. You’ll be invited to plant a giant sunflower seed, help build a hazel bed to grow giant pumpkins, take part in a print workshop or contribute your own leaf or flower to our giant art work.
