Welcome to the Christmas Issue of Primary Times.<br />

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! There’s lots to celebrate and<br />

plenty to do to keep you entertained throughout the Winter. You’ll<br />

find lots of fantastic events and activities in our What’s On Guide,<br />

many of them are free, so pop along and join in the fun.<br />

Santa is making many appearances around the region before taking<br />

to his sleigh for the big day. Why not visit him at Hatton World, the<br />

National Space Centre or Bermuda Adventure Soft Play, or use our<br />

What’s On Listings to see where Santa will be before Christmas Day -<br />

finding him couldn’t be easier!<br />

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a Panto or a show and<br />

you’ll find something to entertain the whole family in our Box Office<br />

listings. Whether you go to see Cinderella, Jack and The Beanstalk or<br />

Peter Pan, you’ll be sure to have a lot of fun. Oh yes you will!<br />

Primary Times Christmas<br />

Card Competition <strong>2017</strong><br />

Every year Primary Times asks children to create the<br />

picture for our Christmas Card. This year we received<br />

a sack full of wonderful entries and we would like to<br />

thank you all for taking the time to draw, colour, paint<br />

and glitter your designs for us!<br />

The overall winner of the competition is Holly<br />

Zheng’s, aged 6 from Garnetbank Primary School in<br />

Glasgow who will receive 50 Christmas cards made<br />

up in her design of Santa next to a Christmas Tree.<br />

We were so overwhelmed by the standard of entries<br />

that we have also decided to award two runner up<br />

prizes who will also receive 50 copies of their designs<br />

made into cards, they were:<br />

New Year – New You!<br />

Want to work out and get fit this year but struggle to stay motivated?<br />

Bootcamp offers small group training over 6 weeks. Delivering<br />

high intensity full body workouts using a number of different pieces of<br />

equipment such as; sled, battle ropes, wall balls, tractor tyre, weighted<br />

vests & kettlebells. In week 1 and week 6 you will undertake a fitness<br />
